This self cleaning litter tray looks like a great idea to us. The tray automatically rakes itself a few minutes after it senses that a cat has used it. The time delay will help ensure that the cat has wandered off and is not scared by the noise or action … anything that scares cats away from a litter tray is not a good thing but I like the time delay factor in this product. The container that receives the waste is disposable and sealable so it can really make a big different to the atmosphere and health in any cat household, but especially in a multi cat situation. The automatic cleaning also will encourage the cats to use what they will see as a nice, new, clean tray.  As it will work from either household current or batteries, it is very flexible in where you can place it for optimum privacy for the cat. It does look a little bulky but that could well be a good thing when you want it to stand up to use over several years.
